Cathleen Tuhtan Springer

Since Capuchino graduation day way back when, my long and winding road as a ‘forever Mustang’ has meandered through a number of residences in the East Bay, on the peninsula, over to Maui and now in Santa Rosa, CA.  For much of this journey, I was accompanied by my two daughters (with Walt Dickhoff):  Kirsten (a holistic veterinarian), now 44 years old, and Cindy (a PG&E small business energy savings specialist), soon to be 42 years old.

Life has blessed me four grandchildren, a boy and three little girls; with many friends and lovers, with well-being and with a spiritual richness that sustains me on a daily basis.

Since 1996, when I graduated from Pacific Academy of Homeopathic Medicine, Berkeley, CA, I have practiced both homeopathy and therapeutic massage in San Mateo, Maui, San Rafael and Sonoma Counties.

In recent years, I studied with Dr. Ramakrishnan, India’s preeminent homeopathic physician, and have been invited to guest lecture at state universities in California and Hawaii, as well as at Stanford University School of Medicine. My practice focuses on women’s health and on treating children with ADD/ADHD and other learning challenges. Retire?  I love my work and will continue with my practice for as long as I am able.

These days I find myself single and happily ensconced out on Highway 12 in Oakmont (a development in Santa Rosa near Kenwood) which is a “55 and over active adult community” where, sure enough, seniors rule.
